A wave of frustration momentarily filled him and then sorrow. Through the blur of tears and falling snow, Koki noticed a familiar face, walking toward him. Feelings, he thought buried, pushed their way through the cracks in his heart of glass.

You know about KAT-TUN’s upcoming single “TO THE LIMIT” and you know it’ll soon be released on the 27th June. But do you know what competition KAT-TUN is up against?

In the past, KAT-TUN, along with the help of their fans, have came up tops against competition such as Tohoshinki, Perfume, 2PM, Koda Kumi, GACKT, Watarirouka Hashiritai 7 etc. On the week of 27th June this year, KAT-TUN will be going up against Shoujo Jidai, Momoiro Clover Z, Hilcrhyme, Ebisu Muscuts, Mano Erina, ViViD, B1A4 (whose debuting on this day) and more. Question is: will KAT-TUN continue with their #1 streak?

“TO THE LIMIT” also happens to be KAT-TUN’s very first single of the year. (They’d really been spending the first half of the year doing their ‘CHAIN’ album & Japanese tour. Their last single “BIRTH” was released back last year during end-November.)

I’m always, always afraid that KAT-TUN might just lose their prefect streak of #1s. It’s not that I don’t believe in them or their music but I think it’s natural when you know your competition is tough. I’ve been in this fandom for about…3 years already I think, as a full-fledged Hyphen who bought every single release of theirs since “Love Yourself”. But fans come and go and there were definitely some low points in KAT-TUN’s path too. The fans I really admire the most are those loyal ones that support the group through thick and thin and stick with them no matter how things may change.

To help KAT-TUN in the best way that fans could possibly help, please do pre-order KAT-TUN’s latest single if you’ve liked their stuff and/or you like the boys as well.
